By popular demand. This is the our classic radome antenna. Pre-tuned for the weighted mean frequencies in Citizens’ Band in the 🇺🇲.
Comes with 16’/4.8m of RG-58 coax and sturdy spring base. It has a gain of 6dBi which has an excellent radio pattern that extends far to the horizon with very reasonable reach in elevated terrain.
It is mounted by a 14mm bottom stud through any 15mm / 9/16” available metal-sturdy hole. Note this should not be mounted on a body panel as this will cause body panel deformation.
Also note in order to resonate at HF frequencies in a shorter antenna a larger loading coil is used.
